Start Date Research: 05/01/2024
Existing Operations Research models fail to adequately incorporate critical human factors such as preferences, well-being, workload. The gap results in a risk of missing out critical human factors, which may compromise both efficiency and employee satisfaction and can lead to acceptance/adoption challenges. The challenge is to use OR to integrates these human factors effectively, ensuring decisions are not only technically sound but also enhance the well-being and satisfaction of all stakeholders involved. A hybrid AI-OR model dedicating with involving human factors is expected to be developed and validated using case study research in transportation and healthcare.
