GTD project aims to set up an integrated approach for Research and Development activities in the Dutch battery value chain. The project includes industrial and experimental research and many partners who are leaders in their markets. The project has 6 different work packages, and work package 2 will be the main concern. This work package is to develop a sustainable and innovative production environment for battery modules/packages so that the Dutch industry can have greater competitiveness and autonomy. Within this, the main work will be on the design, planning, and control of logistic activities side of work package 2. Managing the fleet of AGVs/AMRs to transport the product between workstations and supply the material to workstations will also be considered. At this point, algorithmic methodologies for dynamically planning and routing the fleet of AGVs/AMRs in the battery production industry will be developed. The methodologies can be tried on a pilot line and then improved.
