Factory Design and Autonomous Logistics for Next Generation Autonomous Factory

Start Date Research: 09/01/2024
Advancements in technology have significantly increased the diversity of product demands, making high-mix, low-volume production more prevalent. This production model introduces several challenges, including dynamic work allocation, flexible factory layout design, and the optimal deployment of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). Each of these challenges requires comprehensive data analysis to identify bottlenecks and develop intelligent solutions. The aim is to implement these solutions in production facilities to facilitate a seamless transition towards an autonomous factory environment.
