On Wednesday 16 November 2022 the Beta PhD Networking Event will take place at Conference Hotel Kontakt der Kontinenten in Soesterberg. During this year’s edition, Caroline Jagtenberg (VU Amsterdam) will lead a workshop on the topic ‘Choosing your career after PhD – industry or academia?’. After the presentation and discussion, there will be a joint dinner and a social activity. The program starts at 16.00 and ends around 21.00 hrs.

Beta Research School organizes the PhD Network Event to give its PhD students the opportunity to share their experiences and to learn from each other. All editions are substantively different, so PhD students are welcome to attend all editions. PhD students who attend the Beta PhD Networking Event earn 0.5 ECTS.

Please note: the PhD Networking Event takes place on the day before the Beta Symposium 2022. PhD students who attend the Beta PhD Networking Event and the Beta Symposium (on Thursday 17 November), will be offered an overnight stay from 16 November to 17 November by Beta.
